Winstrike Team CS:GO roster changes

Aurimas ‘Kvik’ Kvakšys was the last player who has been in the Winstrike Team since the first day of the CS:GO roster. But today it’s time to say goodbye.

The player’s contract has expired and, by mutual agreement, Kvik becomes a free agent.

«This year in Winstrike will stick to my memory for a long time. We had our ups and downs, you can’t say we were especially sucessfull, but throught all dark times we fought and always tried to stay as a team. We were driven by one idea and worked hard towards it. But in the end not everything works as you wish it would.

I bid my farewell to Winstrike with only warm notes in my heart. This is the most professional organisation I had opportunity to work with and I surely enjoyed my time playing for this name.

I only wish the best for the people who are working behind the curtains and for every single teammate I played here with. Definitely looking forward to meeting soon in the battlefield», – said Kvik.

«Unfortunately, today we are going our separate ways. After roster changes we had to adapt the roles and Kvik was willing to make sacrifices for the sake of the team and adjusted. We worked hard, but did not achieve the goals that we set for ourselves, and the players began to lose confidence. Given that his contract was going to expire, it was decided to go our separate ways. Aurimas is an excellent team player and I wish him success in all his future endeavors», – coach Ivan ‘Johnta’ Shevtsov commented on the changes in the team roster.

«Aurimas was the last player who protected the colors of the Winstrike Team from the first day of its existence. During this time, he has established himself as an incredibly professional player and most importantly as a true friend. For that reason, it is especially difficult to part with him.

Unfortunately, recently the results of our CS:GO roster have been very disappointing and we all need a reboot. Kvik is becoming a free agent from today. Hopefully, this decision will have positive effect on both the results of Aurimas and the team. I, personally, can only sincerely wish Kvik good luck and victories.

In the next few weeks we will announce roster changes», – commented head manager of the team Adalyat Mamedov.

Together with the Winstrike Team, Kvik participated in two Major tournaments FACEIT Major London and IEM Katowice, became the winner of the third stage of qualification for the GG League 2019, took second place in LOOT.BET Season 1, sang two songs and became the main character of eyebrow memes.

We are grateful to him for his work and wish him the best of luck in his future career!
